A corporate identity was designed to accompany the award-winning exhibition Zeit ist Held. Apart from a logo, the corporate identity consists of a poster, information cards, flyers, T-shirts, a website, a stamp and a wayfinding system.

Red Bull Stratos, a jump from the stratosphere from an altitude of 39 kilometres, was a project that went far beyond the means of what is humanly possible.
The documentary “Mission to the edge of space – The inside story of Red Bull Stratos” offers a behind-the-scenes look at the space diving mission that tells us the fascinating story of the five-year project from start to finish.
The documentary was released one year after the successful launch of the mission. In this context, I was commissioned by Red Bull Media House to start a print and web campaign as a means to promote the documentary. The collaboration with Rdio and Spotify necessitated various assets such as an album cover, a playlist cover, profile pictures and much more. Additionally, an international advertising campaign in the journal Red Bulletin was launched.

In 2014, the Berlin-based design agency HORT celebrated its 20-year anniversary by means of a marvellous competition named HORT 20Y COMIC.
Designers and illustrators were invited to draw a two- to four-page comic characteristic of every single HORT year since the foundation of the agency. Only the comic’s first and final picture of the respective HORT year were predefined week after week. Anything happening in between in terms of style and story-telling was up to the participants’ artistic freedom. After the submission of all works, the winners were chosen by the agency.
I won first place with my contribution to the competition for the years 2001 to 2003. The collected works will be released as a limited edition comic book. All profits are being donated to Amnesty International.
The Berlin-based designer Eike König (HORT) demonstrated that it is possible to design completely devoid of any access to a computer as part of a four-day workshop. Genuine design, no virtual space, just unlimited creativity, experimenting and trying out all kinds of things — the single tool: a photocopying machine.
While a computer’s “Undo” function leaves plenty of room for artistic freedom in creative processes, we called this very feature into question during completion of the fanzine. We utilized the interplay of mistakes and coincidences in order to create something new. The usage of the photocopying machine led to a reconsideration and re-evaluation of basic design rules. Our experiments found that coincidence is an inherent part of creative processes.
The fanzine comprises 20 pages and tells the fairy tale of Salzburg’s king, his castle, the women, the dragon and his estates.

In 2013, Red Bull pilot Sebastian Vettel went down in history as by far the youngest-ever four-time world champion in Formula One. The German racing driver secured his fourth consecutive world championship at an early stage, aged only 26.
He now lies level with Juan Manuel Fangio and Michael Schumacher. The two legendary Formula One drivers were the only ones who managed to win four world championship titles in a row. Apart from Vettel, Fangio and Schumacher, only Alain Prost succeeded in winning four Formula One world championships.
The illustration is dedicated to the success of Vettel and his fellow racing drivers. The artwork appeared in digital and print media all over the world.

Krach Bumm is a Berlin-based progressive hard rock band that was formed in 2015. Their first EP Im Fuchsbau takes listeners on an atmospheric and psychedelic journey while creating dreamy and unique worlds by means of a specific sound.
Inspired by the band's swirling sound layers, I created an experimental album artwork using Fourier Synthesis, Fourier Analysis and 3D software. I was able to transform intangible audio recordings into visual soundscapes.

Cultural patterns and constraints of today’s society stimulate topical subjects such as stress, the unstoppability of time, life’s monotony and the constant delay of tasks. We rush hurriedly through this life with split attention and adjust our pace to the speed of our environment.
The hour glass illustration symbolizes the ephemeral nature of life. As part of the exhibition Zeit ist Held, it serves as a warning emphasizing that life is short and mankind should make the most of it. Apart from a framed A0 poster, the hour glass image is also available on T-shirts and cloth bags (screenprint).

Game Over You Lose is a hard-hitting Bremen-based hardcore punk band that was formed in 2011. They play fast and energetic songs with a rough oldschool punk edge. After the release of two self-produced EPs, the band recorded its first album Bullet In Your Head in 2014.
In fall 2013, Game Over You Lose were looking for a designer to create the entire artwork for their upcoming album Bullet In Your Head. I immediately got in touch with the band and got the job. Together with the band, I designed the logo, cover, booklet and stickers for the CD’s digipack and jewel case.

I was commissioned by Red Bull Motorsport to design an infographic in celebration of the French rally and racing driver Sébastien Loeb’s 40th birthday.
The daunting challenge was to capture the most important events in the life of the multiple world champion. The illustration provides a chronological insight into Loeb’s eventful career.
